General information
The German company OXID eShop was founded in 2003 by Roland Fesenmayr, Andrea Seeger and the brothers Eric and Lars Jankowsky in Freiburg. In 2008, a free open source version of the store system followed. Nowadays, the company has over 2,000 active customers and counts more than 100 certified partners.
